You know what's so stupid? My dad not listening to me. It's not like he ever listened to me anyway. Yeah, it is stupid because now we don't have any place to stay for the vacation we're planning for tomorrow. Mom and I had told him over and over again that we should start booking hotels long before this weekend, and he was like, "Noo, don't bother, I'm sure we can easily find one when we get there." Well eat that! Tonight is the night before our vacation, and as Mom and I checked hotels on internet, we found that NO hotel is avalaible for tomorrow. No nothing, ranging from cheap bed-and-breakfast hotels to Grand-friggin'-Hyatt. Common sense please, what kind of tourist-destination city (we're planning to go to Bandung by the way, in which every Jakartans would linger in for vacations) wouldn't have all of its hotels booked on long school holidays, especially when it's also weekend? So thanks to his muted ears, our vacation plan is ruined.
Actually I think I'm the one who's utterly stupid, for obeying him. What I should've done is, go behind his back (like always) and start looking for hotels long before the date, for the sake of all. Either way, I am big-time pissed.
Note to myself: LISTEN to my children, especially when they are old enough to have more common sense than i do, by any chance.
